Following the success of the Sun Belt Conference's first-of-its-kind Football Media Day video conference in July, the league announced that it will utilize the same format for its upcoming Men's and Women's Basketball Media Days.

In a partnership with Cisco WebEx, the league will present Women's Basketball Media Day on October 20th and 21st.  The league's West Division will be featured on the first day which will include Joe Foley, head coach of UALR - the reigning division champions and back-to-back WNIT participants.  The first day will begin at 10 am. (CT) and will run until approximately 11:40 a.m. (CT) with each coach begin given 15 minutes to talk about the upcoming year and progress made in the offseason.  The same format will be used on the final day of Women's Basketball Media Day with the East Division coaches taking center stage.  The always competitive East Division will feature reigning Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions Middle Tennessee - which returns All-American Alysha Clark and a strong supporting cast.  The second day's video conference will also begin at 10 a.m. (CT).

The Men's West Division will be featured on the first day of Men's Basketball Media Day on Tuesday, October 27.  The West Division is expected to be highly competitive with a number of teams expected to compete for the division title.  Men's Basketball Media Day will conclude on October 28 with several high profile coaches participating and Ken McDonald - the head coach of the 2009 second-round NCAA participant WKU Hilltoppers.

The Sun Belt Conference will provide supplementary onscreen graphics for those watching on their computer screens during the four day media event.  Members of the media can expect these enhancements to include notable statistical information, upcoming schedules, and team facts.
