Men's Golfer of the Month

Ben Silverman, Florida Atlantic
Silverman has finished in a second place tie in all three events entered by Florida Atlantic.  He has finished under par over in each event, highlighted by a two-under-par composite score in the Bethune-Cookman Tournament.  FAU captured the team title in the Bethune-Cookman that was helped by Silverman's career-low 65 in the second round.  The Owls also finished second at the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles Invitational and Stetson Invitational to cap the fall campaign.  Silverman ranks third in the Sun Belt Conference with a 71.1 scoring average.

Women's Golfer of the Month

Stephanie Sherlock, Denver
Senior Stephanie Sherlock (Barrie, Ontario) led Denver for the month through the Pioneers' three tournaments. During the Tar Hell Invitational, Sherlock turned in scores of 76-73-75=224 to finish tied for 42nd out of 93 individuals and then followed it up the following weekend with a 76-71-73=220 on a par 71 course to finish tied for 33rd amoung 80 individuals. During the NCAA Fall Preview, the senior posted her second low-round score of 71 for the month as she finished tied for 7th with a 2-over par 218 (73-71-74) out of 87 individuals on the course of the 2010 NCAA Championships. For the season, Sherlock leads the team with a 73.08 scoring average through 12 rounds of golf.
