Troy 7, Louisiana-Monroe 0

MOBILE, Ala. – Four Louisiana-Monroe errors and a strong effort from Troy starter Joe Hallahan led to a 7-0 Trojan win Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the 2007 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship being played at the University of South Alabama’s Stanky Field.

Ian Craze got the offense going for the Trojans with a first inning lead-off triple.  He would score on a fielding error by ULM first basemen Bo Bowman and Clint Robinson reached first on the play.  Josh Dew’s double would score Robinson after he advanced to third on a failed pickoff attempt.
