Middle Tennessee travels to Mobile to face the Jaguars of South Alabama in a battle of East Division foes this Saturday in the Sun Belt Network game of the week.

Coming off a stingy defense of performance against New Orleans in which they held UNO to 51 (tied a season-low). South Alabama will look to stop Middle Tennessee which has played very well on the road all season. South Alabama will try to hold the Blue Raiders to fewer than 60 points because when they do so they are 5-0. South Alabama leads the Sun Belt Conference in field goal percentage defense holding their opponents to 40.5% shooting this season.

South Alabama (13-11,5-7) just snapped a four game losing streak and will look to make it two in a row. Tim Williams will go for his third straight double-double he leads the Jaguars in points (15.5) and rebounds (7.7) this season.

Middle Tennessee (13-11, 8-4), who currently sits atop the East Division with FAU and Troy, will look for their fifth conference road win. Middle Tennessee had their five game win streak snapped at Troy on Thursday.

Desmond "Boogie" Yates, who recently became the all time leading scorer at Middle Tennessee, and Montarrio Haddock have helped lead the Blue Raiders to a 4-2 mark on the road in conference play. Meanwhile Senior Calvin O'Neil has stepped up his game both on offense and defense during the past six games.
